Disney World, Day 2!

Up bright an early we, using the suggestion of the crowd calendars on http://www.touringplans.com/, we opted to go Disney Hollywood Studios.  This was a great choice, crowds were minimal especially since everyone and their brother books it to Toy Story Mania and then over to Tower of Terror and Rock n Roll Rollercoaster.  The rest of the park was pretty empty most of the day.  We got a lot done, until the rain became too much.  It had sprinkled the majority of the day, which wasn't bad.  But around 2 pm it began to pour and then it began to downpour.  This is one of the only days we had transportation issues, of course.  We waitied at our designated bus stop for easily 20 minutes and watched other resorts buses come and go before a Coronado Springs bus finally showed up.  Here are some pictures from the day.

Started off the day full of energy.  I love this picture of them, but they look too grown up.

From the backlot tour

Trying to get the umbrella/rain to work.  Thanks to a Cast Member we figured it out.

Meeting Lightning McQueen & Mater (I love Mater!)

We ate lunch at Starring Rolls Cafe, which included something yummy from their bakery.  Allen go an eclair, I chose a Butterfinger cupcake, which was far too bgi for me to eat, but I tried.

Toy Story Mania!  This was a huge hit for all of us.  If you are going get their early adn use the Fastpass system.

Meeting Woody!

From Tower of Terror.  So the big thing for this trip was both the kids were big enough to do the majority of the rides.  Here is the big difference, Rachel barely is tall enough to do the rides and loves them-well most of them-but that's another post.  Alex is tall enough and then some, and well doesn't like alot of them.  The Tower of Terror fell into the hated it ride.  Rachel sat there the whole time with this manic grin on her face, hondestly I don't even think she held on.  Alex screamed the entire ride to make it stop.  Needless to say he didn't want to go on a second time.
