Disney Day 6

Rested, relaxed, and ready to hit Epcot.  We woke up bright and early and headed out to be at Epcot for an 8:05 breakfast reservation at Akershaus (not sure I spelled that right) at Norway.  This was the famed Princess breakfast.  Alex was thrilled.   Now in order to be at Epcot for, well I should say Norway, for the 8:05 reservation we left the hotel at about 7 am.  Probably a bit of overkill especially since we stood around outside the Epcot gates with all the other crazy families waiting to be let in for about 20 minutes, but I like to be on time.  Rachel wore her Snow White dress, and she was in awe.  The food was really good to.  Probably one of the best meals of the trip.

Just a few pictures of Epcot without a million people standing around.

I'm not kidding we were like the 3rd family in to Epcot.  And everyone else lollygagged their way to Norway.

Though still sleepy she was very excited to meet the Princesses.

Princess Aurora, or Sleeping Beauty.

Cinderella.  I forgot my good flash at the hotel, so the pictures are shadowy.  This, apparently, was a big deal, Cinderella doesn't usually come to the Norway breakfast since she has her own thing going on at the Castle.

Rachel was so happy, she loves Snow White.

Perfecting the Snow White pose.

Ariel was there as well, and she really was good with the kids.  Rachel loved her.

Alex was a good sport and posed with all the ladies.  He was happy because they had a great breakfast buffet, as well as a family style meal which included a ton of bacon.  The boy has his priorities.

Then out server, Randi, brought him a birthday cupcake.  Because what 8 year old with sugar issues doesn't need a cupcake at 8:30 in the morning.

This made him really happy.  And it's vacation so we let it slide.

After breakfast we headed over to Honey I Shrunk the Audience and were pretty much alone.  Though this trend disappeared by lunchtime when Epcot was invaded by teenagers.  The 2010 Cheer & Dance World Championships were being held at Epcot from Thurs-Sat.  The National Choir Championships were being held at Hollywood Studios and it was Grad Night so the last half of the vacation was spent avoiding hoards of teens.
