Things I'm Loving.....

More things that I am loving right now, from food to TV to anywhere in between.

Duck Dynasty.  I love this show.  It is hilarious, and best of all a show I can watch with the kids without any worry.  To boot they always have some sort of life lessons/message at the end that relates to the episode.  Uncle Sy is an absolute hoot!

Fast & Loud!  Just got hooked on the show in the last few weeks.  I've always been a car girl, got it from my Dad.  I know he would have loved this show.  They find old cars that are either junks or fix er uppers and totally transform them in limited time to auction off.  The stuff they do with the cars is awesome.

Lots of salmon in our lives these days.  Tonight we are trying Alaskan Sock Eye.  Been reading alot about the different varieties as well as sustainable fish vs. non.

We are big grillers.  Mostly chicken but pork, fish and beef too.  This has turned into a family favorite marinade.

The most popular requested marinade in the house by far.  Love this stuff.

Dreaming Diva

Rachel is into a cute short set pj's thing.  No more nightgowns, well except her Monster High one, that is in heavy rotation.  But all the others she won't wear.  Gail recently bought her a new sleep set as a surprise and it came with a sleep mask.  I went in to tuck her in the other night and this is what I found.

Pistachio Men

Tucking Alex into bed the other night I discovered an array of half open pistachio shells on his bookshelf.  They all have faces drawn on them with various expressions.  I asked him what it was and he said "my pistachio men" and layed down to go to bed.  SOmetimes the explanation is just that simple.
