Vacation Day 2

Well I will recap day 1,the kids and I flew out after school on Southwest from Manchester to Orlando.  We landed early, which is always nice, headed down to baggage where Dad was waiting for us.  Grabbed our stuff and headed over to Hertz to get our car.  They gave us a free upgrade for some reason and we ended up with this.

Yup it's an FBI car.  Mercury Grand Marquis.  The thing was huge.  And it went really fast without even trying.  If you go 80 in the Subaru you know you're going 80 mph.  Not in this thing.

Once we got to the house it was about 11 pm or so.  Lyn was awesome and had food ready for us, so we grabbed a quick bite, and a beer (just for me, no beer for the kids) and headed to bed.

Day 2....slept in, which felt great.  Lounged around the house for part of the morning then decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom.

We decided to take the Ferry over to MK.  I haven't done this since I was a kid.  I loved it, Rachel was not impressed and informed me on a later day that she no longer takes the ferry, only the Monorail.

The Poly....someday I'll stay here.

Just as we walked int he main gate the 12pm parade was starting.  We grabbed a curbside spot and watched....another first for us, we never watch parades.  This was the right amount of time, short and sweet.

After that we headed over to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, we always ride this first.  It's like a tradition.  And we love it.

The kids were having a blast, we went on a ton of rides, got some snacks (which is almost as important as the rides), and then headed over to Epcot for the evening.

First Itzakadoozie of the trip....there would be many, many more.

the famous Mickey on a sticky!

Rachel attempted to be neater, but it didn't happen.

Revolutionary Mickey at the Hall of Presidents

Grandpa treated the kids and bought them balloons that you see on Main Street.  They loved them.

At EPCOT I made Alex wear this, like I do every trip and took his picture.

The kids loved having their pictures taken inside Bruce.

After a late night we headed back to the house to crash.
