Thw Weekly Menu
Yes people's it's back and healthified! Allen and I are trying to eat healthier and restart working out because, well, we're HUGE. So this is the plan, hopefully we stick to it.
Sunday-Tips on the grill, veggies, salad
Monday-Quesadillas (chicken for Allen, veggie for me) & salad
Tuesday-Sweet Italian sausage patties & grilled veggies
Wednesday-3 bean chili in the crock pot
Thursday-Grilled Chicken & veggies
Friday-Pork chops & Veggies
Saturday-Cook out at Darren & Veronica's

Comcast Cares Day
Comcast was nice enough to send a group of volunteers to help with 2 ig projects at the Y, painting the Lawrence St. gym and spring clean up at Camp Otter. For every Y employee or friend of that came they donated another $20.00 to the Y. Allen helped with the massive clean up of Camp Otter. Here's what he looked like when he got back.

Mornings
I know I've mentioned it before but morning around our house can be difficult. Mostly there's a lot going on in a short amount of time so unless we want to get up at 5 am we need to just make things work and stick to the schedule. That's not so easy with a grumpy kid let alone 2. This week was particularly bad. Here's what we faced most of the mornings! Looks like someone needs to go to bed a little earlier.

Weekly Menu 4/12/09-419/09
Trying to get back on track and we are starting a new diet/eating healthier/working out routine this week so anything to help is well just that, help.
Sunday-Easter Dinner at Bob & Gail's
Monday-Throwing the diet out day 1 and eating at Mi Mexico Lindo for St. Monica night
Tuesday-Grilled Chicken, veggies
Wednesday-Pepper Steak Stir Fry & Rice
Thursday-Shake & Bake Pork Chops & Veggies
Friday-Some sort of chicken
Saturday-We have a wedding to go to so who knows. Probably wedding chicken.

Our daughter the fish
Since Rachel turned about 2 she has ben taking swim lessons. Everyone once in a while we take a session (8 weeks off) but for the most part it's been pretty consistent. On top of that being that she goes to the Lawrence Y for PS she gets to take lessons there once a week as well. As a result she's become part fish. She now can back stroke the entire length of the pool (no bubbles), she jumps off the blocks with no bubbles, is learning to dive and swim under water. The other day she swam deep enough to touch the bottom of the deep end.
